Intel to cut Skylake and Kaby Lake CPU prices ahead of Ryzen launch

intel processor

Intel has started lowering the prices of more than 20 CPUs of both 6th and 7th generation (Skylake and Kaby Lake family) ahead of AMD’s ultra cheap and powerful Ryzen 7 launch. Although there was no official announcement but this was noticed throughout Intel resellers and was obvious too. Microcenter, a well-known American store posted these new prices as shown in the image.

This is one of the many efforts Intel is taking so as to stay in the market. But despite cutting the prices many Intel processors are still expensive then Ryzen.

As said above this is one of the many Intel’s moves to keep their share in the market. Intel is also promoting special promotions and incentives for bulk buyers as noticed by one of my clients. He was contacted directly by Intel’s marketing team and was provided a great offer for which he bargained on the name of AMD Ryzen and finally agreed on with an extra discount.
